About Me

Hi there: a bit of personal stuff. I am a mum (2 sons) and am part of a very precious extended family. I have a much loved husband of 35 years; artist, Bonsai master and introvert. I have three obsessions: exercise/health, learning and the practice of leadership.

I have found myself with two concurrent CEO roles (Dattner Group and Homeward Bound) which gives me a global breadth of leadership experience on the back of being a leadership specialist, coach and facilitator for 30 years.

I think this gives me a unique approach to helping leaders: I know the challenge of leading and I understand the art of leadership. I have faced my own ‘demons’ – those parts of my leadership I need to address and have celebrated my strengths. I lead an Australian business in leadership development and I lead a global initiative to elevate the visibility of women leading with a STEMM background. Both organisations are committed to influencing for the greater good.

I design, facilitate, coach and speak about transformational change for individuals and for systems.

Mostly, I believe in science (as it informs what’s happening to our planet) and in the power of good intention. I ask more of leaders and I expect more.

This is our decade to make a significant impact on the sustainability of our environment (in all its dimensions) and to leave a legacy for future generations.

Acting for the greater good, in small contexts and large, is something we can all do.
