SUMMARY:Closing the Leadership Capability Gap Across Every Level
DESCRIPTION:Most organisations are working on the wrong leadership gap. What’s less clear is why. \nWhen something slips\, the instinct is to hunt for a capability gap\, usually in the middle. Call it the capability sandwich: leadership thins through the middle levels\, the frontline cops the brunt\, and the executive table often can’t see it. When change hits\, it gets blamed on the skills shortage. \nBut often that’s not the real problem. \nIn many organisations\, leadership and management are treated as interchangeable\, so we invest in management skill while expecting leadership outcomes. What gets labelled a skills issue is usually something else: unclear expectations about what leadership looks like\, and inconsistent behaviour between levels. \nIn this session\, Zoe Dattner and Fabian Dattner invite People and Culture leaders and executives to look harder at where leadership is actually breaking down\, and to stop reading systemic problems as individual ones. \nWhat you will learn\n\nDiagnose the real gap. Spot the signals that tell you whether the problem sits in the middle\, at the executive table where dynamics flow downward\, or at the frontline where the load is quietly absorbed\n\n\nSee why change breaks things. Understand how transformation exposes the blurred expectations and inconsistent behaviour that get misread as a skills shortage\n\n\nStrengthen leadership where it counts. Align behaviours across levels and use a simple diagnostic\, the Team Behaviours questionnaire\, to create visibility and drive action\n\n\n\nWatch the Recording\nand access Event Report \n\n\n \n \n \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Phone(Required)Organisation(Required)Job Title(Required)Industry(Required)AccountingAdvertising/Marketing/PRAerospace & DefenseAgricultureBanking & SecuritiesCall Center OutsourcingConsultingConsumer ProductsEducationEnergy\, Chemical\, UtilitiesFinancial Services - OtherGovernment - FederalGovernment - State & LocalHigh Tech - HardwareHigh Tech - ISPHigh Tech - OtherHospital\, Clinic\, Doctor OfficeHospitality\, Travel\, TourismInsuranceLegalManufacturingMedical\, Pharma\, BiotechReal EstateRetailSoftware - FinanceSoftware - HealthcareSoftware - OtherSupport OutsourcingTelecommunicationsTransportation & DistributionVAR/Systems IntegratorOtherKeep in touch Get our monthly newsletter\n Access Now \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Δ\n \n \n\nWho Should Watch?\nChief People Officers\, People and Culture Managers\, and executives responsible for leadership capability\, performance\, and change in their organisations. \nDon’t miss this opportunity to hear from Zoe and Fabian about what you can do today\, to start closing your leadership capability gap. \nMeet your Hosts:\nZoe Dattner – CEO\, Dattner Group \nZoe works with many of Dattner Group’s clients\, primarily in local government and collaborates with the DG team to remove obstacles\, build capacity\, and enable the company to grow. \nZoe’s driving purpose reflects the culmination of the many years of learning\, growing\, and collecting people’s stories.
