The announcement of the Dattner Group has long been in the making. Thirty-five years ago, long before it became common place, I knew that we needed to challenge the practice of leadership (not leaders). The challenge was to a practice that is thousands of years old, to move from competitive, aggressive, often short term, ‘me’ over ‘we’ and male-dominated leadership, to a more collaborative, inclusive, legacy minded, gender balanced approach.
Today, this shift is more necessary than it has ever been.
We will bring to this story decades of working with men and women at all levels of leadership in transformational change, a deep understanding of strategic engagement (why purpose matters more now than ever), a fundamental understanding of how to mobilise communities of stakeholders and a unique and intimate understanding of why it is so important to elevate the influence and visibility of women.
